High School Level Membership
Training that supports your dancer’s next chapter.
Developed in collaboration with our high school dancers, this program is intentionally designed to meet the evolving needs, schedules, and goals of high school dancers.
This membership offers a flexible, high-quality training environment that can:
- Serve as a primary training space
- Support high school drill team participation
- Complement a dancer’s existing commitments
Classes focus on:
Technique refinement
Strength and conditioning
Performance quality
Versatility across styles
In Texas, high school drill teams are a well-known part of the dance experience, but they do not represent the full scope of the dance world.
Our program is designed to support dancers at every point in their journey, whether they are pursuing a drill team path, currently on a school team, choosing an alternative route, interested in college dance, or still exploring their options. Studio training remains an essential space for continued growth, where dancers refine technique, build strength, and develop artistry in a consistent and supportive environment.
This program is designed to work with the reality of a high school dancer’s schedule, offering meaningful training without an overwhelming time or performance commitment. At the same time, it provides something equally important: a supportive, like-minded peer community outside of the school setting, where dancers can stay connected to their passion, build confidence, and experience dance in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Dancers at this level have access to optional enrichment opportunities, including solo work, as well as traveling convention and showcase experiences.
At OADC, High school dancers maintain a lighter performance schedule, while still participating in the Spring Show to stay connected to the stage, continue their performance experience, and serve as visible examples of growth and longevity within the program for our younger dancers.
For dancers looking ahead, this program also supports those pursuing college dance teams or continued dance opportunities beyond high school, helping them develop the skill set, versatility, and performance presence required for the next level.
